It is extremely tough to get through specialisations. It a major time commitment (and endurance to some degree).

I personally believe all MOOC should be charged (even if it’s not a large amount so it’s still very accessible) because that usually is a great motivator. I couldn’t help but want to finish the Deep Learning Specialisation I took because £40 was leaving my pocket each month I procrastinated.
